Like most Midwestern cities, Cleveland weather changes significantly throughout the year. During the summer, temperatures often reach into the 80’s with wind-producing storms not uncommon. Winters are characterized by much colder and snowier weather.
Cleveland weather is probably best known for its lake-effect snowfall. Lying partially in the Lake Erie Snowbelt region, seasonal snowfall totals for the northern portions of the city can often exceed 100 inches.
