Canadian Weather Info
Canadian weather varies largely from coast to coast. During the winter, central portions of the nation are often subject to brutally cold and dry arctic air masses while areas along the Pacific can remain wet and mild year round. Along the Atlantic coast, nor’easters can dump snowfall by the foot.
Though generally associated with being very cold year round, Canadian weather can actually be rather warm during the summer months. Down-sloping winds off the Rockies and warm moist air from the south help the same places that average well below minus 15 degrees in the winter, reach temperatures 20 degrees or higher during the summer.
